It all started when Mr. Benjie Tanjay and Ms. Marly Pepito met in a romantic place which leads them to their destined fate. And then they fall in love with each other. And now, meet their born products, me and my little brother.
First of all, I am Queenie Lee P. Tanjay and I’m here to share my family’s background. You may know me already because you may have read previous entry last week and maybe now is the time to expose my family to public (hehehe)
First in the list is my father. He is Mr. Benjie Tanjay. He was born on the first day of November in the year of nineteen- seventy three. He is a current business man. I could that this man is a very tough man and especially a very industrious man. He’s the one who fetch us everyday in school. Unlike the other families, the father is the one who stands or what do they call “the bread winner of the entire family” but this family is very different. Instead, the mother is the one who works for the whole family. And of course, I’m very proud of my parents. For me, he’s a perfect blessing that God gave to me.
Then, meet my mother. She was born with the name Marly Pepito which later named as Mrs. Marly Tanjay when she met and married my father. She was born at the twenty-fourth day of December in the same year when my father was born. Right now, she employ as a Marketing Assistant. This occupation let our family stand through every struggle we pass. This served as the only key in order for us to eat three times a day and live longer. She is a very diligent and a wise woman. Honestly, she is a fashionable woman who is always updated to every fashion wear is currently made. I sometimes don’t like her when she convinces me of what I should wear whenever I go to a walk which I sometime disagree. For me, she’s another blissful angel which came into my life.
Next is my petite brother. His name is Mr. Vince Ian Tanjay or should I call him “Miss” (hehehe joke only!). He was born in the twenty-second day of July. Right now, he is in his 5th year of his elementary grades. He is a shy guy to all people who doesn’t know him so much. But for those who knew him for a long time, BEWARE!!!! He might bite when he is so much hungry. He is planning to take the entrance test in UP when he happen to graduated in his grade school years. I would always pray that he could make it to the top and make in my current school. I would sure be very happy for him and for myself because I have already a companion when I go home very late. He is also taking the exam with my cousin hopefully when they graduate.
Bonding with my family could be a really worthwhile thing that may lead to a tight relationship. Usually, we go to church every Sunday together. Also, in our birthdates, I really noticed the important events that happened on that very day. First is on my father’s natal day: November 1, a day for the All Saints’ Day. Next is my mom’s birthday: December 24, the Christmas’ Eve’s Day. Then, my brother’s: July 22, the same day when Apolinario Mabini was born and mine: July 11, the same day also when Pio Del Pilar was born. Get to know us more when you happen to meet us. Not actually together but each only one of us.
WHAT A CUTE FAMILY!!!!

~~~What if I'm Blind?~~~
What will you do if you were meant to live alone in the vast darkness? Would you like to stay and step in longer to your living world? I wonder why God created blind persons. Why did they have to suffer for the strange things they unlikely want to happen? Well, only a persuasive man knows all my doubts about this topic.
A blind person: a deficient man and an unanswerable man who doesn’t know everything of what is happening around his environment. Simply, I’d like to ask this, if you were born to live as a blind person, would you believe that there could be still a hope for most people like you? Running always into my mind of what things will I wonder about if I don’t know or even couldn’t see even a glimpse of what life really is. One time, a man asked me if what will I do if I don’t appreciate and understand what is truly happening around me. Merely, I answered that all the things that God gave to me or even the small ones, are gifts which He wants for us to use for helping and serving poor people or in short, I replied, “then?, surely, it’s a gift from God!” I believed that everything that He gives to us everyday are definitely has different significant purposes to easily enjoy the life of living. Life could be so short. But God said even how short that thing is, you should learn how to appreciate it because this could bring you into a real thing. Now, back to the topic, personally, I would probably serve continuously God and of course!! ENJOY LIFE!!. What then if I don’t see anything? I have my other senses in living still in this existing world of mine. I could have friends who are always right at the back on me and are always there for me when I needed them. I could also have my reliable parents who are ready to take responsible for me. They are the kind of persons who really are ready for you to depend and you could always count on them.
Living in a dark world is not an easy way to enjoy your living. You can’t see what the others can see. You can’t see the amazing things they are now looking at. But there is a good news now! There are already schools for this persons. But still, many blind persons can’t afford the schooling. Nowadays, many blind persons are living on streets usually, not in their homes. I really pity on those beings. Many of them used to prefer to live in streets believing that they could earn money in begging money from the people who happen to pass by there. But NO! I would still prefer to take them to some manageable departments which could take care of them than for themselves. I remembered when I was still an elementary student when we decided to have a group who could help street children or even old women. We decided to put P2.00 everyday we have time for contributing. Fortunately, many participated in the said “foundation”. We were so happy that time. Luckily, the movement was successful. Through the earned money, we bought bread and juice for every street children and women we met. But this didn’t stay longer because our closing was yet to be very near. But still, I enjoyed my last quarter of my life being a grade school student.
